i mean crimea and those two """republics""" dont want to be a part of ukraine anyway, this is also something that could have resolved years ago instead of a needless civil war

this is indeed not a bad deal if true, but the puppet selensky wont take it

the west has done nothing to prevent this mess (disclaimer: we know this is putins war bla bla), they are totally willing to sacrifice many more ukranians to get a hold of the country in the long run

To be fair, a LOT of Ukrainians are willing to sacrifice themselves to ensure that their country is free and western-aligned in the long run, rather than a Russian puppet state.

Russia has not established control over Ukrainian air space, 12 days in and it is still contested. Those airports they hit where not really a threat to begin with, except for the one they hit in Vinnytsa 2 days ago. Number of aircraft shot down does matter, Russia currently has no capability to replenish them, so every functioning plane every pilot we take down and kill means that soon planes that will be taking their place will be lower quality and grade, pilots that we have captured from planes that we shot down - are the ones from Syria a.k.a the elites of Russian military aviation, what will come after them are novices without combat experience = easier to shoot down. More accidents and problems for them. Its a difficult situation that cannot be improved by Ukraine at this moment, hopefully we get planes and more anti-aircraft and anti-missile systems, we are also capturing Russian systems as well, many are abandoned in mint condition by desperate and scared russian forces every day.

There is a logistical catastrophe for Russian forces on the ground already and it will only get worse, a mix of extremely low morale, dwindling supplies, terrible maintenance, cheap components.
Tanks are great however once they are out of fuel its over, ground war is not the problem we are actually doing well on the ground - just keep sending javelins and nlaws and we will be fine, and in no way am I saying that this will be smooth. Eastern and Central Ukrainian cities will be ruined but there shall be no capitulation, Ukraine cannot just give up its territory that = sanctions being lifted, and sooner or later fresh invasion from those newly occupied banana quasy republics, Russia won't stop at Crimea, DNR and LNR and neutrality of Ukraine, as soon as Ukraine gives up plans to join NATO and lowers its troop size to 60,000 as Putin wants we will be invaded yet again or turned into Belarus v2.0. If that happens Moldova will be next, and one thing West does not want is occupied Russo-Ukraine on its very borders as Russians will surely find ways to stage provocations to justify attacks on Baltic states (Putin already demanded that NATO scale back to 1998 borders).

Strategy here is to prolong this war, even if it turns into guerilla style warfare. Russia simply does not have the means to occupy Ukraine, nor does it have the economy to integrate Ukraine fully into itself. And once its economy is shattered it won't be long until Russia starts falling apart.

For now we can just sit and watch all this unfold, luckily there are lots of good news like this -

Yesterday 45-50 helicopters where destroyed on that base, not 30.

both of u are just wrong about everything. and im not going to debatte it with ppl with no military background.

stop talking your call of duty crap pc game. thats real life
and it hurts to just read all of ur BS

denying they run the air space or they in control of the majority of the country even they did not took every single inch ..is just a criminal act against hunanity ppl dying because of ppl talk BS like u bith

the war is already over. just face it. or keep talking and be responsible for death ukraine kids and females. fact

and the most important part u have to understand what russia is doing right now is what ukraine civil population was asking about. when they did decide to give weaponss to the civil population.

knowing we would bomb that civ population with drones or drop a atomic bomb like 45 when they resist
