If a drunk driver smashes into a family and they bleed out and die, would it be honest reporting to say a family died of blood loss?

Now what if 500,000 people were hit by drunk drivers over a year and bled out, would it be correct to focus on drunk drivers or suggesting people wear wetsuits to attempt to lesson blood loss?
