But ya see... most of the folks in the US aren't anarchists. We LIKE the cops keeping things safe. And unlike the rioters....it's the cop's JOB to keep things under control.

My family reports seeing a large black van scouting out the houses that have BLM signs around 4am this morning. Near Victoria and 94. Driving, then slowing, then speeding away when residents turn on lights

Agreed, and I've got some news for you:

Most left wingers know it's wrong, just look at the mayor of Atlanta's speech. I think some just don't want to look like they're demeaning the spirit of the protests and overall black struggle for justice - but they really should be stating it publicly and risk upsetting their voters on principle.

I am reluctant to disavow rioting, just because governments often refer to peaceful protests they disagree with as 'riots', e.g. CCP in HK. When the police start whacking people and they start defending themselves it can be a 'riot'. More simply, protesting that isn't peaceful (excluding defending oneself) is wrong.

Another thing is that now the entire discussion is shifting from the initial problem, police brutality, to the big problem being rioting. Police brutality should stay the focal point of discourse until meaningful change has happened.

Police are human too. Sure there will be the occasional brutality issue. And it will be dealt with... legally.

Assholes running around looting and burning hasn't helped anyone ever.

The meme you posted appears to be attempting to justify it, even if thats not your intent.

The problem is that too many cops have gotten away with unwarranted violence or even outright murder.

Untrue. There are 1.2 million police in the US. The internet isn't spamming all the times the police don't over-react. So it does LOOK like too many police get away with it. When in actuality, it's a teeny percentage... very, very, very teeny.

no it does spam them all over the place.. your just not watching from your couch, it happens way more than tiny percentage.. again look at the rest of the world.. nowhere near the issues
