Think you missed the point of what I posted or possibly took some kind of psychedelic and have me confused with a British prime minister.

He has a point.

But it's an inconvenient fact for critics of traditional US foreign policy that Russia would like nothing more than for us to pull back from the world order we've created. They want a weaker NATO, a weaker European Union, Europeans not cooperating with each other and the US not maintaining our various alliances around the globe. They'd like European countries and the United States to turn inward. That's where a lot of people got Trump wrong. He doesn't align with Russian interests on multiple foreign policy matters because he's compromised... he's just viscerally a nationalist and isolationist, which Russia loves.

So, it's true that these sort of McCarthyite tactics towards critics of traditional US foreign policy is wrong. It's also true that Russia promotes the same US foreign policy criticism through their own rhetoric and the media ventures they support.
