Yeah, if this deal was legit, Ukraine should take it. If Russia is not demanding an end to Ukraine's EU aspirations, or a change in government, or for ceding the regions around Kharkiv, Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk, then Ukraine would get away rather cheap. (The Russians will insist on keeping Mariupol though.)

This might just be stalling tactics by the Russians though, to buy some time to fix logistical problems, or to catch us off-guard once again before they start the attack on Kyiv.

i mean crimea and those two """republics""" dont want to be a part of ukraine anyway, this is also something that could have resolved years ago instead of a needless civil war

this is indeed not a bad deal if true, but the puppet selensky wont take it

the west has done nothing to prevent this mess (disclaimer: we know this is putins war bla bla), they are totally willing to sacrifice many more ukranians to get a hold of the country in the long run

But the west isn't killing Ukrainians though, Russian soldiers are.

Russia has a lot more airpower than it's using. We don't fully know the reasons why yet, but it's important not to jump to conclusions after just 10 days

My bet is that because they planned for a 3 day military operation instead of a protracted war, they weren't ready to use their fleet straight away. That has changed in the last 4 days and will probably change even more


Virtually the entire Russian air force are non-stealth aircraft, so the vulnerability to shoulder fired anti-air missiles is real.

yes, thanks for reminding me

my point is once again that experts have been warning for like 20 years that a neutral ukraine would be needed to secure peace long term, these views have been voiced again after 2014

but the power hungry scumbags in the west didnt even consider this option, they rather let things escalate before missing out on having ukraine in the NATO block as well

ukraine is the victim of russian and western imperialism in yet another proxy war

this can be said without defending putin, but any other russian government would have made some kind of move as well

just like the united states were willing to pull the trigger over missiles on cuba the russians cant allow missiles in ukraine

i always thought you were one of the lefties here, since when do you guys support US imperialism so much?
