Not really. Russia and Ukraine have a shared history. Soviet Union was the last instance that kept it together. As a failed state, the Union brought a divide that cannot be solved soon. We are lucky to see Ukrainian nation being forged before our eyes. It may be unacceptable for some. Not for me.
