I had a stomach bug recently that shit was more severe then covid.
Fevers couldn't sleep because you constantly throbbing constant stomach cramps with, a fever, you get dizzy.
Feals like you lvl 1 den zombie weak and lethargic. Then there is the vommitting, can't even take a bite of a hard food before barfing it 5 - 60mins later. Think you can start introducing soups to your diet Vomit. Pretty sure I had vomited like 10-12

You lose a lot of weight in the process after all that you barely get out of bed. Ontop of it everyone thinks it's covid

Where is a magic pill or an easy sip of this fine tincture to make all that torture to go away?

To be fair, the lethality of covid was multiple times that of the flu in the beginning. It only became as deadly as the flu once a milder variant (omiron) appeared, and that's still only in combination with widespread immunity against hospitalization or death acquired either via infection or via vaccines. The recent wave in Hong Kong shows that even omicron causes lots of deaths in an immunologically naive population.

Likewise, the vaccines were blunting transmission very strongly for the wild type and alpha, and less so but still significantly for delta. Vaccines only became largely irrelevant for preventing transmission once omicron appeared.

I'm an ICU nurse, I literally bagged a lot of those people. it really surprises me and discourages me to see how many people actually thought this was fake.

I remember working in Bridgeport Ct when they shut the cafeteria down because they were staging it for another medical unit. We had 2 patients to 1 ventilator, we literally were turning people away because we had no capacity. I sent a lot of people home to die because we couldn't get them into our hospital.
