You say that like your opinion is supposed to mean something.

Maybe try not being an apologist for a murderous dictator?

How many times do I have to say this,

Given that almost everything in regards to foreign policy from the mass media has been straight lies for decades, I would rather have been wrong the one time they told the truth rather than fallen for another one of their lies.

Everything else they're telling us in regards to Ukraine is 100% BS. Last night I switched on fox news randomly, some guy was bitching about how Iran is "totally giving Russia thousands of drones", but anybody who has researched this story knows it's false. Just blatant lies 24/7.

https://www.foxnews.com/world/white-house-accuses-iran-gifting-several-hundred-drones-russia

The White House said it believes Iran is planning to supply Russia with "several hundred" unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) amid its war Ukraine. White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said Monday, "Our information indicates that the Iranian government is preparing to provide Russia with up to several hundred UAVs, including weapons-capable UAVs on an expedited timeline." Sullivan said it is unclear whether Iran has already sent some of its drones to Russia and said Washington officials have intelligence leading them to believe that Tehran is preparing to train Russian forces on the UAVs this month. The security advisor said the fact that Russia was turning to other nations to help reinforce its brutal campaign in Ukraine shows that its war is "coming at a cost to the sustainment of its own weapons."

whether it is true or not, who gives a damn ? its normal in times of war for those at war to trade for arms.

feel free to comment and provide (credible) links.

the US isn't very credible at this point, they have even admitted proudly to circulating false intelligence. It could be true, and it could very much be made up.

Just one of many sources: https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/national-security/us-using-declassified-intel-fight-info-war-russia-even-intel-isnt-rock-rcna23014

Jake Sullivan said a few days there was no evidence Russian had bought or were transporting iranian drones, and about 2-3 weeks ago they said the opposite. Take official American statements as dubious at best.

Why should we take your viewpoints seriously when they're coming from a position of reflexive anti-establishmentarianism instead of a critical assessment of verifiable information and the substance of the issue at hand?

"Everything the mainstream media is telling you is automatically a lie" - that's not a worthwhile stance.
"Everything the Western media is telling you is a lie while everything the Kremlin is saying is 100% the truth" - that's an insult of our intelligence.

There's a fundamental difference between "made up" intelligence and low-confidence/false/inaccurate intelligence. Raw intel often comes from people who don't have the big picture, they might get a date incorrect, they might be lying, etc. This is why consensus is so important.

I think when it comes to assessing Russian actions, the US has had an incredibly good track record so far. It's a breath of fresh air given how poorly we performed in the Middle East/Central Asia.

I ended up blocking him because his posts had as much value as TiStuff (who is also blocked). I'm sure he's been more unpleasant lately because HIMARS are wrecking havoc on his team.

if we dont see iranian drones being shot down in 2 months it means it was all made up bullshit. And we should be seeing tons of them shot down considering drones fly 100-250km/h . Iranian Shaheed drones have very distinctive look, they look nothing like orlan etc

If we dont see any shotdown it means cia was lying, white house was lying, and so was the navy spokespersons guy, aka navy was also lying.

These sorts of claims are GIGANTIC, they were talking about the purchase being completed, done, of hundreds of armed strike drones. There is no such thing as faulty intelligence when it comes to such massive deal, it is either fabricated aka full of shit made up disinformation or correct.

so lets come back to this topic in 60 days, honestly i personally think it is 50/50 at best

Your opinion doesn't mean anything.

You are apologizing on behalf of an evil empire that wants to enslave the entire planet, but hey, Putin bombed some NeoNazi scumbag filth that spent the past 8 years slaughtering their own nation's citizens, so he must be worse

Here. Go learn something:

https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/apologist#

Quote
An apologist is a person who argues in favor of something unpopular. If you're an apologist for deep sea oil drilling, you would argue that drilling in the ocean is necessary and the benefits make up for any environmental damage.

Apologists tend to be seen in a negative light, as defensive people who make excuses. The word apologist comes from the Greek word apologia, meaning "speaking in defense." Not all apologists are bad news; some just defend an unpopular idea. Even though apologist is similar to apology, don't confuse them — if you make an apology you're admitting to being wrong. But if you're an apologist, you justify your belief or action, and would do it all again!

I'm not apologizing for anything. You are being an apologist for Russia. That makes you a POS.

this was a good post. if i may be so bold: if it is proven false, one might say that the purpose of the exercise was for america to keep the pressure on russia, who lets not forget, invaded without provocation, therefore the ends justify the means.

this would be a good example of an apologist statement (and is not my own personal view).
