I guess an interesting question for myself, and other social conservatives who support democracy, is was Trump's presidency worth it overall? Sure, the right-wing went insane, American democracy almost ended in 2020, but Roe got overturned and that could save tens of thousands of innocent lives a year.

I'm honestly not sure, but I lean towards no.

I think you missed the part where Hillary was gonna start ww3. You'd all be dead right now if she made it in. So, Trump was the only logical choice. Roe v Wade is just the icing on top..

i remember a bunch of women protested in texas by withholding intimacy, which ironically seems to be what the conservatives were trying to do in the first place.

honest question: do you expect birth rates to noticeably increase, and if so, what kind of childhood do you think the average forced birth kid will have? it's almost adorable how religiously-naive you are towards the predictable suffering and death this decision will cause in reality: children in loveless or destitute households, increased child poverty, crime, hunger, disproportionally affecting poor and minority folks (as intended). desperate mothers, a massive increase of unsafe illegal abortions, lifelong depression, even more prisoners, and ofc lasting deep division in society... truly a great day for religious zealots living sheltered lives everywhere...
