The link you posted is awful. Zimmerman wasn't convicted of murder, so under what definition is he a murderer? A grand jury declined to indict the officer for Michael Brown's death, so under what definition is that murder?
One paragraph before the author begins to talk about false dichotomies, he or she is employing a false dichotomy.

I'm not saying you can't properly define these things and make a case for why we should view them through the author's lens, but on its own it's just emotionally charged garbage.
