no. if he's guilty of manslaughter that doesnt mean he's also guilty of 2nd degree murder.
if he's acquitted of 2nd degree murder and found guilty of manslaughter that would make the most sense with the evidence.
especially given that the prosecutor tore apart the law enforcement training witness of the defense in cross examination. took his precanned statements, turned them around, and got him to admit on the stand that his precanned statements were not only contradictory but also not applicable to Chauvin's actions.
all the defense has at this point is the argument that Chauvin's actions arent enough for 2nd degree, but frankly i dont see much of any defense for the 3rd degree charge.
