I don’t know what your getting at. I simply said it doesn’t vaccinate me, slow the spread and it’s still up in the air if it really is safe? With such a low death rate why would I subject my family to that? Seems like a high risk low reward.:…And you came with a terrible seatbelt metaphor?

Low death rate? Like a 9/11 amount of people are dying every day ? The single most impactful event of my childhood for comparison...

If 1 of out of 1000 people eating chicken nuggets were dying, I think it would be prudent to prevent my family from having opportunities to eat chicken nuggets.

Ok putting myself in your shoes. The rate is high….. if the “vaccine doesn’t vaccinate me, or slow the spread and the long term affects could/ or couldn’t have serious health effects(TBD) why take an Experimental drug? I believe it was phizer literally said your old shots are doing little if anything for you at this point in time….. Also we’ve all had Covid so just another reason to not put an unknown substance in our bodies….

You are free to develop your own theory on the best approach. As I didn't devote a decade of my life to studying medicine, I'm happy to trust my family medicine doctor.

I fully respect that and wish anyone who does or doesn’t get the vax the best. I’m no doctor either just want to “ask questions” and try and make the best decision so my family can live a happy healthy life. Yet because I ask legitimate questions I’m accused of being an “anti vaxer” and all kinds of other negative things. Lots of others are in the same boat as me.
