Pandemic is over in any meaningful way. Treatments are readily available, hospitals have beds to send people to, people are in the ICU for non covid reasons now, and the vaccines are so effective that the people dying are mostly doing so electively for political reasons.

Side benefit we were able to weed out our worse nurses, the ones who don't believe in science and medicine. Nursing as a while stands to improve from this because they have been up until now embracers of pseudoscience and good for a laugh from other health professions. Nurses can be the dumbest educated people you'll ever meet i swear.
