The curse of disobeying God. We decide to be our own rulers and reject God as the ruler over all. When people decide to reject God then they will choose to do evil. God is love. God let the world become this because we have free will. He will not directly interfere with every little thing. Don't you know the the lesser evil usually leads to the greater evil? At what point would God intervene? The men who rape the women hate God, they decided to be the ruler of their own life.

I do see how the world is fucked. I see it everyday I'm at work in retail. I see so many stupid people and thieves that try to steal that I have lost all faith in humanity. I do not love the world as I am not of the world. I set my heart on things above. If everybody were genuine Christians then they would follow the basic 10 commandments and maybe right here in Australia we would be much more technologically advanced. Unfortunately the biggest weakness is the people who abuse what we have now. How could we trust them if they are given even more of a chance to abuse what we have now? That is how I see that the world is fucked.

The priority of God is that we are saved first and foremost then as a result of being saved we are changed from the inside out. After being born again we respond by doing good works in gratitude. Do you see how the order is flipped as opposed to other religions?

So when Christians are called to act like the Good Samaritan, help others and do not steal have you ever wondered about their motivation behind those good works? If they already have the ultimate prize why do they keep on doing good works?
How is that different from working to earn the ultimate prize at the end?

Religion was created back when we could not explain things like natural disasters and diseases. Then was used to control the people, LISTEN TO THE KING OF GOD WILL PUNISH YOU!!! A hurricane kills several people and the religious would go : god punished us for our sins! NO most of them were innocent, virtuous people and the sinners were safe in their houses.
