War is the last argument where truth is the first casualty. When you start a war under the rubric of "denazifying" and release proven neo-nazies then you have no trust and your position is weak and pathetic.

UK ministers are refusing to negotiate in the case of the briton foreign fighter captured by Russia at Mariupol. The DPR at Russia's behest sentenced him to death, and now the UK won't play ball with Russia to negotiate his release. So he's likely to actually be executed as a mercenary. Because the UK doesn't want to formally admit he's a mercenary. Their geopolitical pretense is worth more than this guy's life. But his fiance should be proud, he's dying for her country. Being killed for her country.

It's just sad.

DPR should show mercy, give the guy like 3 decades in prison and call it a day.

The UK govt is incompetent and doesn't give af about DPR executing them. They probably want it to happen so they can complain more about how evil Russia is.

DPR/LPR/Russian forces making massive gains as of late.

Ukrainian defenses collapsing all around Severodonetsk and Lysichansk. There is a cauldron with 2k Ukrainian troops closed in Zoloyte/Gorsk. They are already surrendering. The cauldron is closing also around Lysichansk, Ukrainian forces are staging a disorganized retreat and taking high losses.

Surrender of the units at the Azot plant in Severodonetsk are currently in negotiations, some have already done so.

Foreign mercs in these areas are trying desperately to get out, they don't want to be captured by the Russians. Some have been killed trying to escape. Others are being evac'd in special Ukrainian operations to avoid giving Russia more American mercs for the info victory.

In a few days Russia will be able to declare the full territory of the LPR as entirely liberated from Ukrainian troops.
