I'm betting they have a verdict Tuesday but the judge waits to reveal it on Wednesday afternoon.

The OJ verdict was delayed like this as well, announced for a time where the media could maximize ratings. I realize that Chauvin is not OJ, but this case is still a career defining moment for all involved. They want to give people a chance to tune in. Doing it too early in the morning would make it tough for west coasters.
