You don't need benefits when you make enough money. Benefits are good for people on a salary that struggle to survive.

what is the point of getting vaccinated now? let's say an antivaxxer changes his/her mind.

pfizer CEO says the first two vaccines give 4% protection against omicron. impressive.

a third one, which you need to wait half of year if not more, boosts the protection to an incredible 64%. superman status.

but by then most likely omicron will be gone.

the regular covid variant doesn't exist anymore. delta barely exists anymore. omicron is milder than delta. getting omicron gives delta antibodies.

so what would be the reasoning? keeping the community safe knowing vaccinated people spread the virus as well?

There is no point . Many took all the doses + boosters yet they still get sick. They tell people these 3-4 doses ain't enough and it's not working as expected. More will be needed! People still line for their next doses well knowing that the dose they are bout to take won't be effective and more will be needed thus the circle continue.

Oh, you're actually from there.

I feel like our countries need each other but there is a big difference between our cultures still.

The Chinese call Americans lazy and the Americans call the Chinese kowtowers. There is truth in both of the insults but in a sense we're both just overly focusing on a small subset of the other's population.

I admired how your people were back at bars June 2020 while our country was sitting at home twiddling their thumbs in lockdowns that didn't work.
