People would care but the issue is mainly with cops. If a black guy killed a bunch of Mormons, people would absolutely care and call it a hate crime.

No one gives a shit if a black dude kills a white kid and no one cares if a white dude kills a black kid. That happens every day in America because we have a high murder rate.

Because it was a police officer lol. She wasn't arrested for several days, was only charged with manslaughter initially. Then it got upgraded to murder.

We didn't follow the trial like we have been with Chauvin. It fell off the radar comparatively quickly after the charges were upgraded if I'm remembering correctly.



Zimmerman didn't even get arrested that night, and they drug tested Trayvon before they tested Zimmerman.

There was plenty of police involvement and shit with Zimmerman even if they weren't the ones doing the killing.

Not necessarily but it certainly helps. People care more when people in a position of authority abuse their power. That's why people care more when a teacher/priest rapes a child.

A kid being killed by a random person simply isn't interesting when it happens. Frankly, I don't even think fragile white people care about the victim. They just want to use stories like this to prove that poor whitey is discriminated against. It's part of white culture to be upset when the world doesn't revolve around them.
