We all want to be in the position of God and serve ourselves. Everybody does it. We all want to save our lives and live it to the full.
We all want to gain the whole world don't we? That is where our treasure lies as well as our heart.
What does the Bible say about these things?
For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. Matthew 16:25
What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? Matthew 16:26
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21
