i think he's posturing to his base, you know stupid old men who are calling for war with north korea to get a sense of patriotism back. i don't think he's dumb enough to actually do anything, it would require a full evacuation of south korea within a massive area, at which time they still might launch the missiles.

If the other countries of the world cease to concern themselves with the UN, we WILL be in a lot of trouble...and I don't just mean the US.
This has to be nipped in the bud.
We also have SK and Japan, (our allies) to consider.

Let's say we just ignore NK....

For China, NK is just a tool to poke at the UN and the US, and China wants to control the entire south china sea.
They also, probably had to promise NK that they could have SK ...back. And they sure won't be putting up with Japan either.

OBVIOUSLY, a political solution is no longer an option. It's been tried by EVERY president since the 1960's, and has failed.
Once NK has the TIME to get their newly created nukes and delivery systems, hidden and entrenched...it will just be messier.


IF, there IS no other solution than... force...I would hope it would be done sooner, rather than later, when it will be that much harder.
Just since NK started getting out of hand...it has already shown Iran that they too can get feisty, and everyone will just wring their hands, and say...Oh my...what's to be done.

Yes, they must be policed, and most probably it will need to be military. This is what I think will be the result.
Do I care one bit? Not at all. I will be dead in 10-5 years. I don't have to live with the things the US govt. decides, for very much longer. You DO however.
