in case you didn't know, large parts of red america had already de facto banned abortions by introducing ridiculous requirements for health care providers that were impossible to comply with. today's ruling just means they can go from legal trickery to fully embracing their anti-women, anti-choice stance, and even outlaw those abortions that an overwhelming part of the population is in favour of (following rape / incest / severe medical complications), which used to be challenged previously.
