Israel strongly condemns the Turkish invasion of the Kurdish areas in Syria and warns against the ethnic cleansing of the Kurds by Turkey and its proxies.
Israel is prepared to extend humanitarian assistance to the gallant Kurdish people.

Dude just face the global picture: We are talking about Syria & actual crisis and the only thing you do is "butt butt 100 years ago...."

Because yes, you are a climate denier & pro-concentrations camps in China boomer, you are just picking up the information you want to comfort your deflections or false beliefs.

Correct, its a description. The start of a joke at your expense.

"you should be paying us."

did you forget to include that part? honest mistake, i'm sure.

You indicated US troops should stay indefinitely while declaring a peaceful solution would happen.

There was no dishonest garbage on my part.
Suggesting I am an aggressive anti-intellectual when i call you out for being an aggressive anti-intellectual is in fact a 'no you'.

Avoiding my points like a coward and insulting me instead is not holding me accountable for anything.

Where did i say it can't apply to me just because i use the words? Where is the logic fail on my part? I see the strawman and false claim of a logic fail made by yourself.

It doesn't apply to me because i'm not an aggressive anti-intellectual.

You are free to go back and read my response to your lies about me related to those comments.
Sharply and accurately responding to your pathetic and dishonest canned response is not being 'triggered'.

guess you forgot the 'if anything' part, clearly indicating it's a RESPONSE to america's obscene calls for more military spending, and even then it's not a 'descendant of nazis demanding reparations' - there is no way you can make your garbage statement into a remotely valid point, so you might as well stop spinning. also, you can call your ad hominems 'jokes' all you want, but that doesn't change the context in which you post them, or the basis on which we communicate. i really hope this is just a mechanism you resort to in order to convince yourself you're not a complete garbage person, and don't expect anyone else to believe it.

also, me pointing out several times that the concrete goal should be pulling american troops out of ALL middle eastern conflicts (not just those that don't yield you control over oil fields and other economic benefits for the real owners of your politicians) clearly refutes your lie about my alleged call for indefinite engagement. your dishonesty about my disagreement under which circumstances these 'few dozen troops' are withdrawn won't magically make my posts disappear, you know...

your simplistic and uninformed posts concerning this issue are not serious arguments, and it's quite revealing that your only way of dealing with that reality is making this yet again into a personal squabble, blatantly lying about my actual points, and resorting to idiotic personal attacks.

the truth is that american imperialism is directly to blame for a majority of the problems plaguing the middle east right now, and no amount of revisionism and finger pointing will make that simple truth, which the overwhelming majority of historians and political analysts agree upon, disappear.

yes, other countries played their dirty games in that region before, yes, many of their problems have roots that have little to do with western intervention, but when talking about the current state of the region, the united state's greed and arrogance has been THE driving factor behind the mess that all of us have to deal with now. you are not the good guys, sorry.

There is the argument that NATO is only a defensive pact, and thus the US isn't obligated to stay out of conflict if the Kurdish militias don't wage war on Turkey.

On the other hand, in practice NATO has been more than a purely defensive pact. Yet at the same time Turkey has been far from a reliable ally in global politics in the first place. The entire situation isn't onesided.

You have to be sensible and analyze the outcomes/effects.

Turkey dropping out of NATO and becoming an enemy because we wanted to defend the Kurds is bad for us in the long run. It’s bad for Europe also. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. That’s being played out right now with the US, Russia and Turkey. The more we push on Turkey the more they find haven in being aligned with Russia.

What a nightmare scenario would it be if we decided to die on this hill, proverbially speaking, and by doing so you’ve created the Russia-Turkish military alliance that would be able to steam roll Europe. We have to think strategically when approaching geopolitics.

Is it really dying on the hill when you just stay there to attempt to dissuade Turkey and the Kurds from attacking eachother?

Also, at what point do we stop appeasing Turkey in their transgressions? They're already pretty much being ruled by a dictator, and have zero qualms with human rights abuses. 21 People have already been arrested in Turkey for speaking out against the bombings. Erdogan is a giant piece of shit who shouldn't be treated differently from Putin, Xi, Assad or Saddam.

Our parliament has already approved of sanctioning Turkey, and I think the rest of the EU will agree when they convene. Turkey is now threatening to send all the Syrian refugees into the EU.
