You ignore the cops guilt and this.. and don't prosecute those cops.. The entire US will be a war zone

yeah nothing like a blatant 4v1 case of police violence to unite the permanently ‘at war’ pard and even the entire country seems to almost unanimously unified against this horror show of a killing by those cops.

It's probably the body cam footage, IMO. That's the current missing link with regard to video footage that is available to the public. Even if that shows actual resistance by Floyd, it doesn't justify their actions once he was subdued, and it sure as hell doesn't justify the blatant misuse of restraint technique by Chauvin.

yeah good point re: footage. i saw a poignant point posted somewhere else the jist of it is that there isn’t necessarily more police brutality and misconduct now vs before it’s just easier to catch them in the act. unfortunately the citizens who caught these cops in actions couldn’t stop them but they did sound the alarm, so to speak

You mean protestors. The police aren't working on behalf of the people, they are beholden to capital. No amount of peaceful protests or electoral politics will lead to remotely fair policing, so if you want to pressure fair policing you apply pressure to the institutions the police are beholden to.

at the point of being handcuffed and subdued with no threat possible.. What crime constitutes knee chokes.. what would they "debate about"

Yep. There's a gap from the end of the restaurant security cam footage (where Floyd was brought over to the squad (the one he died behind), and the infamous footage of him already on the ground with a knee to his neck. This gap should be filled by body cam footage, hopefully.
