None of that above will realistically teach you much.

Get familiar with photoshop, and practice a ton

Have an idea of what you envision and practice creating it

Photomanipulation, c4d spam, smudging, are all common styles people use for signatures. You can also use photoshop to animate these styles.

Your own imagination will be huge in learning.

If you look at my profile, 80-90% of its photomanipulation. The others are playing with field blur, and enhancing the image and bringing it to life with the animation.

All in all their is no one clear route.

I started by making friends free sigs, just start pumping stuff out

No sense, tutorials are made for the persons learn so how you say by seeing tutorial he will learn nothing? lmao
Got all the tutorials you need to make whatever type of edition you want online, just need look for it...and know how to look for it
Learning from tutorials will put your skills better for in future you do whatever you want with all the skills learned...if you just gonna learn by yourself playing on photoshop you wont go faar...

Also keep creating stuff even if it turns out to be crap. Not everything you create will be "good"

With friends. Tutorials only work for some people. I have never looked at a tutorial series before, and I will never do it.

The only times I look at a "tutorial" is like "How can I find this tool" Which is more of a direction rather than a tutorial.

I think it's pretty self explanatory, tutorials are hard to keep up with, you cannot ask questions and have them answered, and most tutorials are not tailored for a. your software and b. your task/goal.

Either way, some of them might be useful, but those tutorial lists are hard for me to follow man, I just get lost whenever I open them. However, someone might take use of them, that's why they exist right?

this evening i think.. i start to learn photoshop a bit

that was only tutorials i found on d2jsp i had made a topic too with much more but losed it, google has everything i learned most of my graphic design skills seeing youtube tutorials over and over again
Friends yeah if you have friends with graphic design skills
