It’s actually a screen shot that he freely shared with the community. If you look close it’s a literal screen shot, NOT the nft he owns actually, so it’ll be staying there.

So I'm having issues with this user, whom copied my signature including my own quote, which I have been using for a long time here on JSP.
I do not own the rights to the picture, but In my opinion this is a complete ripoff of my entire signature, which I dont find fair or cool. I've gotten many compliments from other Fear and loathing fans for my sig and d2r version of a fear and loathing quote and I feel a bit frustrated that somebody just rips it off.

I've confronted the user, but he has just been rude and didn't really give a fuck, and even amitted that he had ripped it off from me.

I'm the original user of this signature and I did also come up with the D2 version of the movie quote. I got many players here on JSP that can confirm this.

You can see my signature in my signature, and I have provided a screenshot showing my conversation / confrontation with him and that he is admitting to have ripped it off and his behaviour after confronting him.



Is hope that you agree that the is not fair behaviour and that I can have my signature and quote for my self.

Let’s try to put some light to this situation.

You say you do not own the rights to the image, which in itself may be correct, however I wonder did you crop the image and resize it yourself to JSP regulations?
If not, did you request it from someone on the forum?

Thanks for getting back to me.

I did the initial cropping for the signature and had a guy from the the forum signature thread to help me with the last bits that I couldn’t handle with a online editor tool.

The initials signature was also a gif which I eventually had to drop due to file size.

The request was made at Nov 26 2021 02:02pm and it is at page 208.

It was another signature though with a gif. And I ended up changing it to the current one due to loss of image quality.

I also had a chat with a moderator at that time, who made me aware of the size violation. I had him to confirm my new signature without GIF afterward, to ensure it was compliant.
