If you dont prebuff on your es blizz (which I dont cause it's annoying and unfair imo) this orb saves you 6 hard points that youd use to skill into es.

Those hard points end up adding more damage than a fathom would, plus it has extra cold mastery points.

For es blizz, this does more damage.
Without using es, fathom has more damage.
