only thing i would agree on is the resistance, would rather see str/dex/@res

Resist is a prefix
Str and Dex are suffix.

You can’t replace a prefix for a suffix.


The issue with the ring is that it doesn’t have Dex and instead has min damage.

TLDR- 9/10
I prefer min over dex for a bvc

15 dex x 5 - 75 ar
Vs 9 min

Now look at your charms 3/20/20s
3 max (not min) = 1.5 avg
9 min = 9 avg

Therefore 9min= 6x 3/20/20s worth of dmg
15 dex (75ar) = >4x 3/20/20 worth of ar

If you really needed ar compared to damage you’d use 36/20s instead of 3/20/20s

All casters have low def except hdonk in which case a bvc would ezpk anyway if they had any experience

Doesn’t matter what you prefer.

It’s been proven for 20 years that Dex > min

And nothing regarding the math has changed in d2r


Additionally, 9min = 4.5 average for the same reason that 3max = 1.5 average.

So even your math is wrong

Whelp, honest mistake... i know about prefix(2) suffix(4) just didnt add up which ones are which.

I see why 20+ single res are now considered a point in a 6 point ring now

im blind as to which are which on some items i feel like i only think about it on weapons

It’s 3 prefix / 3 suffix. Can’t be 4/2 or 5/1


Anyone that uses the point system doesn’t know what they are doing, as the point system is extremely flawed and gives people wrong information more than it gives them correct information.
