Well, I never expected it to go smoothly.

Just finished building it, tried turning it on but nothing is showing on the monitor (monitor is working).

- PC does power on when the power button is pressed
- GPU lights are on and fans spin like once every 3 seconds
- CPU fan is spinning, but red CPU light is on on the mobo (ab350 gaming 3) that I believe indicates a problem with the CPU?

I tried googling it and apparently it could literally be anything... bad mobo, bad ram, incompatible ram, change up ram slots, bad PSU, wtf?

HELP :(

Tried switching up the ram slots and only using one, none of that worked.

Will try the battery reset thing now.

Tried to reset CMOS using the screwdriver method, didn't work.

Gonna try removing that mobo battery now for 10 mins and try again.

Going to try unplugging and replugging it all after work today and then I'll take some pics. Gives me the chance to tidy up the cables too, I guess.

Thanks

Reddit told me it could be an out of date bios, and that I can update it via usb.

I guess I'll have to try that too

Most factory bios' for Ryzen are a bit buggy, updating fixes a lot of issues.
