You know wales voted leave right?

NI will probably stay, as long as concessions are made over the NI/ROI boarder (don't see any reason why these would not be given). The other option for them is a unified Ireland, and while it may have come a long way I don't think they are quite there (yet).

Feel free to take Scotland. If those yellow bellied whiners actually grow some balls and leave ofc.

all of the inbreds outside of our capital voted leave

Finally indeed.

The UK kept halting any potential progress in the unification of the EU, I think this will be a blessing for us in the long run. I don't think this will be beneficial for the brits, but I wish them the best. Over all I'm glad that they won't be influencing our decisions and demanding special clauses and treatment for them.

Don't understand how UK opposition parties are still making a fuss about this though. If people voted leave then there's no going back and it's the politicians' responsibility to make it happen as quick as possible, even if they don't like the outcome.

I mean, if they're really intent on cutting their nose off then we can't really stop them. It will only come with negatives though. They are exempt from immigration quotas and get more money back in science funding than they put in all together, so there's literally no reason to leave.

Emotions though.

You would think that's how democracy works, wish the idiot protesters and politicians got this memo.

You actually wouldn't, since it was an advisory referendum and not something that is binding. It's also accepted that if we re-polled today support wouldn't be nearly as high. There was a huge wave of regret as many of the people who voted yes symbolically had a unanimous "Oh fuck, I just wanted to send a message, I didn't actually want it to pass."

In a democracy what the majority decides then that decision needs to be executed. There was a vote, most UK citizens decided leave, that means their wishes should be honored, period. It's a scary world we're moving towards where people think that democracy should be tossed out (when it doesn't go our way) and instead we should just get do overs.
