Is it weaksauce to point out that public school teachers are twice as likely as the general public to send their own children to private schools? (Including 25% of all D.C. and Baltimore public teachers, 39% of Chicago teachers, 44% of Philadelphia teachers...) Gee, it's almost as if they know there's a problem and yet they aren't providing a solution. Teacher's unions are by far and away the greatest roadblock to meaningful reforms.
Those are tough ass communities. For some reasons you think teachers should be in the poverty most of their students live in when they teach in the poorest communities in the US.
You should be rewarded for hard work. If you work hard, go to college, get quality training, and work your ass off for the betterment of society, you should be able to live a nice lifestyle, above people who didn't do those things.
Maybe you just want teachers to leave the harder urban schools so they just die and single parents can teach their kids themselves between their jobs. Just have the big ones watch the little ones.
