While this video does address some of the problems with charter schools, the beginning of the video shows what happens when charter schools are successful and the later part of the video shows what happens to unsuccessful charter schools.

That being said.

Bad public schools should face the same penalties as the bad charter schools

Anywho...

You know what the difference is with public and charter schools?

When you steal from a charter school, you do prison time.

When you steal from a public school, you get a promotion and a pay raise.

Never mind the fact that there are hundreds of teachers in public schools that have been found feeling up pupils and all the district did was either move them to another school or...

Get this...

Promote them and gave em a pay raise.

Pretty fucking funny how failing charter schools go out of business and failing public schools do not.

There is actually a public school less than two miles from the white house that has only about 8% of the students reading at grade level.

How is that school not closed and why isn't every teacher and administrator in that school in prison for stealing school funds?

The existence of charter schools is a huge problem for the public education system. They need to be eliminated and the resources put into public education.

This sad sack of shit was "promoted" to a made up position with no responsibility, requirements or oversight after the scandal because he threatened to sue the school because he said they were being racist.

I'll let you guess what his pay rate was.

Keep in mind that he kept the same wages as before.

Depends where you live. In some places public is better, sometimes private. I know several people who's family paid to send them to a private school and they ended up with a shitty education as a result.

Private isn't the same as a charter school.

Charter schools use taxpayer money but are held accountable if they fail.

Times up by the way on guessing his salary.

This basically confirms, or at least supports, my statement.
