Jill Stein 2016!

Green Party stance against Nuclear energy just turns me off from a lot of the other things I agree with them on.

I'm pragmatic on climate change, Nuclear energy is not only the solution. It's the future. It can replace fossil fuel now to power the grid and is the most powerful energy source there is and it doesn't ruin the environment. The waste can be managed better now and safety has improved as well.

If you care about the climate truly and don't support nuclear energy than I don't think you care enough.

if you truly care you will avoid fission power and go for renewables
with the long time needed for commissioning (and also decommissioning) of nuclear power plants it's just a waste to go that way
perhaps 20 or 30 years ago nuclear power stations were a viable option but with the progress in renewables all potential advantages are gone - the nuclear power industry will tell you otherwise, have a guess why

If nuclear is so inferior surely you wouldn't mind open competition and a ban wouldn't be necessary, right?

Lol, are you seriously trying to say that renewables are viable and nuclear is not? Renewables do not have the capacity to meet demand, not now, not ever.

Uh, the things that make it inferior have to do with waste that's dangerous for thousands of years and the risk of things like Fukushima happening - neither of which are going to be responded to by the market because they require long term thinking, which the market rarely does.

The sad part is these burnouts are investing the college fund of their wife's son in a failed campaign

This is a funny characterization.

I bet the overwhelming amount of people supporting Bernie and giving him money are employed degree holders in the middle class who aren't doing blue collar work. The National Association of Social Workers endorsed him, I know a lot of teachers and other mid level professionals support him.

When I meet Donald Trump supporters they are 50/50 dumb rednecks who are stupid enough to believe that the Mexicans and blacks are the reason they have less than they feel like they deserve.

I felt like that 50/50 thing was going to lead to you mentioning two different groups
