I think it definitely has merit. This is sort of similar to the Obama administration's commitment to not relate ISIS with Islam. It didn't make sense to me at first, but I began to realize it was a good strategy.

Still, I think as a rule, it's good for America to execute home grown terrorists.


If you analyze the Jordanian and Saudi response to ISIS it makes more sense.

They go to great lengths to disassociate ISIS from Islam. References to ISIS as a "gang" or "criminal enterprise" are common, it's far less likely to illicit a popular response.

I bought into the right-wing response at first, but realized the administration's policy really did make sense. That'll be one of the few Obama foreign policy wins(and one that will be mimicked).

And the Sopranos ending is a polarising one I'll admit. I loved it though. Closure is overrated. Just look at Sons of Anarchy for an example of why.
