Well. Your sarcasm was successful, especially because you had to explain it.

Evolution is happening constantly, everyday, all around us.
Creation has not happened yet and we have no physical evidence that suggests otherwise.

ever try opening a coconut? what kind of god would make the damn thing so hard to open while banana's open easily?

don't know if you are specifically comparing the two on purpose, but god didn't make the bananas you get from the grocery store, humans did (no seeds, can't reproduce on its own)

This... even with abiogenesis one could argue that an intelligent designer made it happen. Such a claim would be completely stupid of course, just like it is without considering abiogenesis, but it would not be definitively refutable.

why is deism stupid exactly?

One thing I messed up on and should have mentioned earlier is on the subject of #God's perception of time. To save you reading up on this Kyle was using this as an excuse for the earth being much older than biblically claimed.

The verse he drew his assumption from his this one -

'But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.' - Peter 3:8

This verse is written in direct response to the question of why Jesus had lied about the second coming and all his prophecies had not yet come true. According to the bible Jesus and his disciples said various things about this but the general idea was that all his prophecies would come to pass within a generation and that 'some here will not taste death' before the second coming. Peter is trying to explain the failure of this to come true by saying that Jesus had no concept of time as we know it. He was not specifically stating that 1 day in god's time equals 1000 years of our time.

While both are obviously bullshit rationalisations this, in context, shows just how irrelevant it is to the age of the earth.

Also 6000 years our time also = 2.19b years "god time" and the earth is almost a billion years older than that so even with this shitty attempt to reconcile creationism with scientific discoveries.

I am a Christian, I believe in the evolution of the universe.
we are eternal spirits created by God in constant moral and intellectual evolution through reincarnations.
all the discoveries of science today are valid and real.

I mean what i assume the OP means, and that is the earth and everything on it was "created" by some bigger intelligent being. Which there is no proof of.

So i guess he thinks the earths orbit around the sun is a perfect circular motion and the distance between the two never change?
