One day we will equate traditional procreation with a parent refusing to use anesthesia on his/her child in surgery.
Sorry didn't catch your meaning, not sure if you're agreeing with me or not.

Im agree on avoiding the bad disease like Trisomy as early as possible; and for now it's not possible to make a diagnose on 1 cell or few cells, diagnose on well sized foetus (14 weeks) is mandatory...

The idea of considering the foetus as human only once it's implanted in mother is interresting, would ask religious what they think about that.

Sure fact is ppl doing IVF only for gender choice are doing a terrible mistake, like i said above, since the years it exist now we know IVF babies are weaker, get more diseases etc...

So mother and father dont want lose 1 full year in bed to get their child; they use IVF
Now the IVF baby marry another IVF baby, they got serious issues if they want to make it naturally, so they use IVF method...
50 generations later the specie extinct lol

I'm referring to rather genetic diseases, where particular genetic profiles are enough to diagnose, for example.

I haven't heard any evidence that shows IVF causes weaker babies. I'd like to see the evidence if there is any.

In fact I think the facts are exactly the opposite of what you claim. A few generations of properly executed IVF would COMPLETELY EXTINGUISH all forms of genetic disease.

Meh. I don't know about that. Let's face it: people are always going to love fucking. Even with widespread birth control and multiple types of birth control, couples are still going to have kids the old fashioned way.

Maybe a bit more than a century. I could be way off base.

If things go as I expected, genetically superior humans (those that are a product of genetic screening via IVF for traits like intelligence, attractiveness, etc.) are going to begin becoming the dominant "subspecies" and there will be massive selection pressure against "normal" humans. Traditional births will become the exception, rather than the norm.

I have various sources in french, theres the last serious study from IVF Urs Scherrer, check by yourself if you want, it's just too long but those babies have issues, btw actually the oldest baby is 34 years old...
The main point is yet to only use IVF when there no other choice.

Cant understand the first statement i made ? (not possible to make a diagnose on 1 cell or few cells, diagnose on well sized foetus (14 weeks) is mandatory... yet)
You may realize that genetical testing require to destroy cells, are you aware of this ?

idea: grow yourself 50 foetus and select the best, then freeze others (because it's a sin to kill humans)

That's the general idea I was trying to advocate.

yeah, it require 14 weeks old foetus yet (to detect triso 21) so it will be pretty hard to make it IN VITRO -_-

Height: 14 cm.
Weight: 110 g.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. This is a progress for humanity. Soon everyone, for free hopefully, will be able to have screening to eliminate genetic defects and potential for disease in babies. Our future generations will be healthier and stronger before they are even born. This will help the healthcare system in the long run.
