Obama talks out of both sides of his mouth. I expect he wants to move left now that he has completely lost control of the legislature.

Even tho i have serious gripes with him in recent months, He makes a very great point.
Our government (and specifically Obama) JUST showed us that its completely inept and full of lies when dealing with a single website and the healthcare industry.
Now you'll trust Obama and the FCC to make major regulatory changes and powergrabs over the entirety of the internet.

Who is supposed to be the satire again?

Ted Cruz is just a paid off politician to say things in favor for whoever paid him.

In this case, it's ISP lobbyists.

You can trace campaign money of his back to ISP lobbyists.

It's just Ted Cruz doing what he got paid to do. Try and defame and attack the side that isn't paying him money.

He has no point at all.

We most certainly did not have Title II net neutrality, which is the issue at hand now.

Saying he is paid doesn't actually negate his points.

the only example you need to look at for a reason not to classify ISP's as a public utility is the electric companies. i'm certain the FCC would model the regulation after the power industry. hurricane sandy provides a wonderful example of how outdated our electric system is and how there is no money for R&D or underground wires to provide better operating up time to customers.
electric companies have guaranteed returns provided to them by law. no chance for competition and power providers are regulated monopolies. no thanks.
