you are labeling this boy as evil? you think he's possessed with a demon or is acting as an agent of satan?

You have a wonderful knowledge of the scriptures, and ancient christian practices. but you truly don't know how to be one with Jesus Christ, you have no empathy for your fellow man.

Well it would depend on your basis for that conclusion.

If you have a psychiatric degree and declare the child cannot be helped then I'll take your word for it unless a more qualified psychiatrist or a group of them disagree with you. If it's because you have some disillusion about people who commit atrocities being anymore inherently 'evil' than yourself then I would disagree. They are just human beings... like the rest of us. The devil is not in them and they do not do the devil's work. They are just damaged (in our eyes) people.

Harsh. I genuinely meant with respect. I like you and respect your opinions. I added 'afaik' because I could have been wrong. Do you have a psychiatric background or qualifications? If so and they are greater than mine, which isn't hard tbh, then I apologise. But I still think that regardless of our qualifications or experience we aren't in a position to make a judgement call on whether this child is beyond help. We don't know the intimate details of his case, you may or may not be qualified to give him a psych eval but you haven't done so.



Even if you believe that how can you say the boy himself is evil? Could he not simply be a victim under the devil's influence? and if so does he not deserve to be helped?

...back in 97 or 98 the press got a chance to talk to the father of the Pearl , Mississippi school shooter . When asked about his childs involvement his first reply was " this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased " ...the stare back into the camera was enough to make my skin crawl . Some of us recognize pure evil when it happens , most would rather not .

The fact that you attribute this to demons and devils worries me.

Why does it worry you?

Because regardless of whether they exist or not there is no evidence they do. Decisions that can determine the course of a person's life should be based on what is known or can be reasonably surmised from the facts at hand. Not from fear of some as yet unproven metaphysical entity.
