Yeah because swearing is comparable to killing someone? You didn't swear at age 10 and knew you would get whacked because you already done it before... Last time I checked, kids at age 10 don't get second chances after killing someone to know it's NOT right.

Both of our dumb asses knew better than to kill someone. Are you really arguing this?

Huh? Ofcourse, at age 10 I highly doubt a kid would know the repercussions of what will happen if they were to kill someone.

Because that's exactly what I'm arguing and calling BS ON:

just based on my personal experience of being that age, i was fully aware of my actions and the repercussions that followse

I highly doubt a kid age 10 knows he will be sent to trial and sent to prison for xxxx years if he pulled a trigger on a weapon that he prob thought was a toy gun.. LOL I mean seriously.

(Or in this case, do what the OP said the kid did)

idk i was looking at your photos for a moment and felt the need to post this one somewhere.

They should look into the property around his home to see if he was torturing animals or anything. If so, then you have a genuine sociopath and not just some crazy bipolar kid.

I freakin love that gif

Any child who does something like that has some developmental issues. Sociopath or not the kid is mentally ill and should be treated as a mentally ill child and not as an 'evil' adult. It's too easy for people to just say that someone who commits an awful act like this is just 'born bad' and not to actually try to help or learn from them.

This isn't the case. The case is a kid violently beating an elderly woman to death. Can you honestly tell me that most 10 year olds don't understand that's wrong? Fuck, I could write essays, knew how to handle negative numbers, and could do advanced graphing at that age.

Well, unfortunately his actions are irrelevant, he could do a Jodi Arias and slice up his neck and shoot him. The point I'm arguing is, DOES HE KNOW at that age, of what kind of trouble he could end up getting into? I highly doubt he knew he could be spending the rest of his life in jail. He's 10 year's old for crying out loud, it's his parents that are ultimately to blame here.

i'd hope this wasn't an italian household

i'd say all people who commit crimes have some sort of mental disorder

i'm just not very compassionate and don't think it's worth while to spend resources attempting to rehabilitate people depending on the severity of the potential threat they pose to society

Whatever justice is meted out to the boy, an equal or greater punishment should befall his parents. You can't tell me they aren't at least partially responsible.

It also sets a good precedent, if you notice your kid has "mental issues" then you have incentive to do something about it rather than wait for him to fuck up.
