...ah , that lessens the threat of abuse . We are again the opposite in that the family does not have the right to overrule the wishes of the deceased . I think that no matter what we will always have a shortage of available organ donations unless and until science devises a way to grow them within an acceptable moral format .

This seems unnecessarily callous.

...I don't need or want your help . It is already in the hands of the appropriate mod . Stay out of it .

Well, I do think that if the deceased explicitly stated that he/she does want his organs harvested, there is little the family can do about it.

It's just in the case of presumed consent, that they are able to object.

I could say the same about the millions and millions of unborn potential that you are in favor of snuffing out.

On the verge means nothing they are always on the "verge"

I'm not trying to minimalise my hostility.

I'm not at any point trying to be your friend or pretend that I don't dislike you immensely. I'm simply asking for a ceasefire here in PaRD. That's it.

Anyway I've made a seperate thread for this discussion as it is off topic. If you have more to say then out of respect for the OP and the people trying to discuss the topic at hand I will be happy to hear it there.
