widow the grinch's heart is too small to accept hst's love :o

It's fine, some people really do dislike me. But I don't care how much he despises me, I will show him compassion when needed. If he feels someone is making death threats towards him, I will report it. Not just because he's Widow, but anyone on d2jsp for that matter.

There is a time and place for trolling and being sarcastic, but there should be ZERO tolerance for Death Threats on any level.

My take on it anyway.

Well you posted about and I don't care how much you hate or THINK "I hate you", I still value your life so chill.. (Not being sarcastic btw)

No reason to worry about his life. I made no threats. Saying you would enjoy doing something is not the same as saying you are going to do something. You're making a mountain out of a molehill.

i think my ideas of "we know better than you" and forced organ harvesting by the state from the dead against their wishes would be horrific

yet i believe it :) - greater good etc

I think healthy organs are in great demand and the dead have no need of them. Why let the living suffer for love of the dead? Would you not eat your dead friend's body if you were starving in the wilderness? I would. I would encourage anyone with me to do the same with my body if I should die.

Yea I've seen a few movies where people have been forced to choose between living on the flesh of their fallen friends or dying. I find the choice quite easy and would apply the same logic to the question of mandatory organ donation.

Movie is called 'Alive'.

And I'm a vegetarian for the past ~17 years. I'd eat meat (human or non-human) if my life depended on it.

I don't see what the difference is between that and taking a dead man's liver to save the life of another guy in hospital waiting for a transplant. It's on a larger scale for sure but in the end it's the same.

If the dead don't need it then why should the living be forced to join them so that they can keep it?

Well, it's a different situation.

The guy I'm eating probably don't have any next of kin sitting next to him. Otherwise, it'd probably be them eating me...

You're alive... He's dead. If the next of kin are reasonable they'll join you at the table. I wouldn't want to eat a dead loved one but if it came down to that or kill another human being and eat them I'd eat the dead loved one.

Kinda hard to be reasonable when you're in a situation that would force you to eat a loved one.
