Here's a link to the music myspace page and some video's on youtube of a friend of mine's music.
I know he enjoys several of the Artist's you listed and you might find some inspiration from them in his music.

He's a local artist for the band 00 The Rabbit - his myspace page contains his most recent music.

Just a fucking funny video regardless:

these are the ones i haven't heard, what should I look at for the last 3?

glenn hansard once OST (maybe check out the movie itself)
yndi halda - enjoy eternal bliss (http://www.last.fm/music/Yndi+Halda) some tracks free to listen, we flood empty lakes is fooking amazing, i'd rate them over mono, godspeed you and most of sigur ros stuff (excluding Von)

as for a kid hereafter...idk, whats best, just found it fitting, im more into their side project "a kid hereafter in the grinding light" :)

also check henrys funeral shoe

billy cobham is a beast, he's one of my favorite drummers and i think ive recommended him a couple times actually :p

my jazz is limited to essentially this: miles davis, john coltrane, the dave brubeck quartet, mahavishnu orchestra [and soon to be herbie hancock and return to forever]

listen to sun ra, i think you will like it since you dig the above couple.
and m8... Django Reinhardt, drop a pm if you need links

ed: this was to all of you people.^

for the garage rock loving people, check out King Tuff his new band '' Happy birtday'' (album is a s/t), note: It's more pop-like

If you liked that, then you'll enjoy everything Blind Pilot puts out.  Torrent the whole cd, you won't find a bad song.  Especially look for their Look At Miss Ohio cover.

Let me know your thoughts.
i've heard/own everything in this post but they're all spot on :]

Tegan and Sara, The xx, Phoenix... but you've already heard of these.

Do you like instrumental music? Check out Pelican.
the same applies for this post

we flood empty lakes was beautiful. maybe better than mono, but i'm hard pressed to rate any post-rock over gy!be and sigur ros, but i will be sure to check the rest of those out, thanks :]
