Am I alone in this? Seems like a no brainer to me. Obviously a fools weapon that does 200 max fire damage or lvl 5 fire bolt ( w/e damage that does) would still be gm regardless of the raven / hl.

DJ is right, the 200 cap is meant to be specific to the weapon

So does it mean that we will have to allow 200 elemental dmg without raven and highlord?

The only thing that has rules applicable to it is the elemental damage on the weapon

The use of HLs or Ravens doesn't factor in.

Neither has the use of elemental damage small charms. Although in general, the stacking of elemental dmg in your inventory is generally considered very bad manner, regardless of how ineffective it is.

Code
Winter Adds 5-9 Minimum and 16-50 Maximum Cold Damage - 5 sec Duration Melee Weapons(45)

Incineration Adds 10-20 Minimum and 21-75 Maximum Fire Damage Melee Weapons(43)

Storms Adds 1-6 Minimum and 41-120 Maximum Lightning Damage Melee Weapons(34)

Does this mean elemental damage from any other method is bad mannered by the ugml rules? Jewels with fire damage are allowed only if socketed in the weapon?

A 4fpa Druid uses no ravenfrost, for them to have any cold damage they need either: jewel, charm, rolled weapon, or ravenfrost.

Does anyone consider it bad manners to use a 3/20/cold or a cold/20life

how would you extrapolate the discussion to come to that conclusion... it's like you can't read or comprehend

again, can you fucking read?

i said in general STACKING of elemental damage in your inventory is generally considered bad manner

STACKING, you are just dumb and try to be argumentative but you're too dumb to do it correctly

I'm trying to make sure I understand. You can have as much elemental damage as you want as long as your weapon does not exceed 200, and that none of the damage is poison.

I'm not arguing. I am asking clarification questions and this is my last one since you have no interest in answering them politely. I have absolutely 0 interest in having any confrontation with you on d2jsp.

Check the other site if you want to have a less polite conversation but I will not do it here

I would. Dueling someone that doesn't use a raven means you don't need cbf . 4th frame druid or edc / botd Gelics builds for zeal / conc. I may be the only person who has a swap for that lmao. 80 30 viso berd alma shaft rends edc.

Obviously bad manner is subjective for a lot of things, but using a cold damage SC on a 4 FPA fury druid has never really been considered BM. Some do and some don't, but it's been done for a long time.

To make everyone happy, the rules should be the following:

- Only have one source of each kind of elemental dmg (without the weapon). So if someone has highlord and raven frost, only 1x fire sc is allowed. If someone only has hl, 1x cold sc and 1x fire sc is allowed.

- The weapon cannot exceed 200 elemental dmg.

I don't really see a need to change the rules now, they have been functioning pretty well for a very long time.

IMO It's something that generally polices itself, most people learn the hard way the opportunity cost of stacking elemental damage
