enigma is very much needed.. well if you want to do things fast as for shields for pvm I would go with a spirit mon really.. getting 32%+ from it to reach fcr bp

if max block then I go with ss.. nice guide though

Care to explain why? On a zon you're just about as fast with CoH as when you teleport if you don't switch gear/have fcr gear as primary (which is pretty dumb) + you get 65 all resists... Also on a javazon you don't need tele to get into the right position like you do on a hdin as you can spam lf from anywhere.
The str mod on enigma is nice but only really needed if you go with a monarch as your shield of choice. The 45%frw is next to useless if you tele and is pretty nice if you don't, but it still doesn't come close to 65@.

Eni gives merc control,ability to reach and kill nihlathak in ~20s at start of baal run and telestomping baal!

Coh offers res but this can be gained from charms and boots.

Alright, that's better.

But still, you have to sacrifice quite a lot to make up for the lost 65 resists + to get a decent fcr bp...

Also I made my build to solo hell with /players 8, not to make runs. In mf/lvling/whatever runs, enigma may really be the better armor.

the fcr on spirit mon should be more then enough.. being able to tele so you dont have to walk around walls.. rivers etc..
str life on enigma is good too and the frw is very good too your not going to tele all the time

Life is something CoH has too. But yeah, otherwise you do have a point there. I might try eni, seeing as I already have mb.

Why do you suggest getting max block for a pvm javzon? wouldnt a 20/20 monarch be far better. More damage and - % res helps defeat the munes your merc infinity breaks faster
Wouldnt the block +fhr frames+dodge = bad for you ,keeping your zon locked into one spot since your only escape is walking and without walk you block = zero (with coh) in a big group of monsters this can be bad.

Also i find enigma to be the far better choice in armour just because of its mobility. And also the fact that you have to rely on others to do things like tele to baal etc with CoH is annoying.
