Probably the best show I've seen in a long time.

Renewed for season 2 as well.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt14269590/

I've watched all 7 currently released episodes and it's just pure entertainment.

Really likeable MC and the way the episodes are written and directed is great.

Ngl like 90% of the main actors on this show have a face you want to punch. Maybe that's what they're going for lol?

Same I watched some show that I cant even recall the name of now but it looped and replayed the same events over and over and all I wanted to do was punch her in the face.

Did the next best thing and just turned it off.

Edit: Russian Doll

Looks trash.

The worst character from the American Pie series and she got her own show? No thank you.

It's a good show. There's just enough humor that you will come out of each episode with a good feeling. It's light and easy to watch in that respect.

The older aesthetic is also kinda cute. It's always throwing in things from 70s/80s/90s culture and sitcoms.

Rian Johnson made Knives Out as a love letter to the old whodunnit movies. Poker Face is the same type of love letter to the old procedural series.

Ep6 was my favorite so far. It used audience expectations of the formula against us. We were tricked us into thinking we knew who the victim was going to be, but changed it 4 times before we finally realized what was going on.

today's episode was one of the better ones. It's nice that they got a big name actor like JGL to stop by for an episode.

There were a few elements that stretched the believability, but perhaps they will end up being revealed as misdirections next week when the story continues.

The episode with the movie effects story was really good. Nice nod to ILM as well. Really cool seeing a practical effects workshop.

Also the JGL episode was definitely an unexpected twist on the formula.

Strong finale episode. Somehow manages to stick to the procedural formula while also being loaded with twists. Every context clue of how shows are written goes against what happens next. If this show had aired 30 years ago, people probably would have disliked it complaining that it felt like random nonsense. It's only thanks to our sixth sense for the formula that the tricks work.
