The person playing Ellie is the worst actor I've seen in a while. I keep seeing news articles being like "deserves an award" and I can't help but think we are watching different shows? Like the person can't do emotion, always just stone faced sociopath. How does anyone call that good acting?

I don't particularly like her that's why I guess her performance didn't come to mind when I wrote that out. I don't have any feeling of her being terrible either though. I'm not a great judge of child actors to be honest. Most of them I want to punch in the face. It's why I can't watch Stranger Things.

I think she's perfectly adequate. Would have been nice to see someone who looks closer to the game model.
