You definitely not gonna play the same game, its even gonna be whole other genre.

It's a tricky subject to address because folks only listen to their own point of view.

If you apply the equation:

your young age hormones + Diablo II = 10x gg
your old age smelly farts + Diablo IV = 5x gg

If you think that your young age hormones are equal to your old age smelly farts you can name both x and the above becomes:

x + Diablo II = 10x gg
x + Diablo IV = 5x gg

if you do equation #2 times 2 and substitute 10x gg in equation 1 you get:

x + Diablo II = 2x + 2Diablo IV

you isolate for Diablo IV:

Diablo IV = (Diablo II - something)/2

So not a whole lot I get that! Diablo IV sucks!

But hormones aren't farts!

Let's say Diablo II = Diablo IV = 5x you get:

5x + 5x = 10x and
0x + 5x = 5x

What this means is, if both games are equal in quality, you don't actually hate Diablo IV, you just hate the smell of your farts!

You know game is trash when only thing left to defend it before release is fart math gymnastics

D4 was really fun gameplay and PvP, really good world, cool classes, and the trading system is fantastic for both solo play and buyers/sellers because of the lock system after using GGs.

Gearing and content difficulty needs tweaking in major ways, but once that's done it'll be 10/10.

Play it for the lore if you actually care about the franchise. It's cool it's dated 10,000 years before D2. Some awesome boss appearances.. hehehe

Looks like a mobile game tbh... blizzard north .. was fired long time ago, the ones who made d2 are not part of the team.

When the endorphins begin to die down, Diablo fans wake up from their parallel reality they built for themselves in 1995 with Diablo 1 and start bitching about how bad things are.

In my opinion, the only way to revive those endorphins, is for them to go to Hell for real!
