Some absolute gems but please cut the non-trophies, this list is too long
There are so much trash like 4os ancient plate but also mediocre items

the ancient armor is 15ed 4sox, thats best in slot. better to show ppl what bases/items are desired then not to show them. also i could ask you to point out 3 mediocre items but bear in mind these may still have sold for alot of coins. one of the reasons for this topic is to promote awareness for the wider community of what not to charsi. not everyone has 10,000fg or even 1000fg for that matter, and this topic is aimed at helping them make some coins (and for LLD players to complete their characters).

For sure just saying that the list becomes very long when you include things like gray or blue items which are common.

Do you have anything to post or are you just here to bicker about what someone wants to post in their own thread?

I dont think there is anything wrong with discussing whether or not an item is a trophy thats all, which I think plenty of items on the list arent

There’s a difference between discussion and berating and calling items mediocre with no context and from what it seems a lack of understanding for what best in slot looks like.

your not wrong, white items are common and certain blue items are common as well. therefore their price will be low, but their price will never really diminish noting they will ever be best in slot. Having said that:

(a) a perfect superior base (say GMB, SHadowBow, Sacred Targe, Crown Shield etc) will always retain a certain value (accepting there is talk of change in 2.6).
(b) basic magic's (3passive/30frw/2sox, 3shape/30frw/2ssox or magic jewels such as 40ed/15ias) will also always retain a certain value.

both of which are dictated by supply and demand. in the round, we look for perfected items, and to perfect our characters. I am not about to start including set items and unique items here, but there is no harm to my mind in creating an awareness of best in spot items, and alternatives.

In terms of the first image - which is "the best of the best" there are 2 blue items there. they both sold for more then 10,000fg, each, (13K for the light orb and >20,000fg for the barb helmet) and there are no rares better then those currently.

TLDR we welcome and embrace debate, challenge, and difference of opinions - as this bumps the topic and this in and of itself promotes the Dueling brackets. even for non d2r players that may rage at times, it promotes the dueling brackets due to visibility.

the fire amulet sold for 26K, thats 13K more then the last very good one (which n-c last had).
