Prime rate up to 7.50% which a terrible economic policy.

This is how the prime rate has been increasing in the last years.

12/15/2022 7.50%

11/3/2022 7.00%

9/22/2022 6.25%

7/28/2022 5.50%

6/16/2022 4.75%

5/5/2022 4.00%

3/17/2022 3.50%

3/16/2020 3.25%

The prime rate is now up +4.25% since 3/16/2020.

This effects all United States citizens.

This is not good policy.

Joe Biden should be impeached for his incompetence, but let's continue to erroneously sing his praises, sigh.

This is not a US only problem, so neither can it be a Biden only problem.

The only way to cancel out all of the covid money printing would be if countries announced a 1% tax hike with all proceeds thereof to be destroyed and taken out of the system.

The first country to declare this policy would see their currency become considered a safe haven currency overnight with inflation reversing as fiat holders move their savings. Every other currency would feel the other end of this effect slightly as people move funds. Inflationary pressure would force other countries to follow suit.

I don't think any country has the balls to actually do this because the masses of that country are too dumb to equate destroying money to gaining wealth. No leader has the power to defy the people in such a manner.

I am not in the US, I don't care about the US or know anything about it.

Inflation is a problem of yesterday's spending, not tomorrow's.

Even those with double digit IQ can follow that.
