I am complete and utter noob before I make a new char any suggestions?

What I am looking for is hdin of poe. Something that can do everything and really good late game. Thanks guys!

just played like 2hrs of this. 0 story or at least it felt like it, just a lifeless npcs with no exciting quest or purpose other then to waste my time clicking on them. It doesn't feel exciting to kill mobs every item has like an essay telling me how godly it is but in reality they barely scratch lvl 1 mobs.

The stupid over the top numbers like ffs don't do it for me. By mid game I feel like there will be a mob on every free tile that your character will insta gib by just looking at them. The only redeeming thing about it is the skill tree and the absurdly broken items for late game to try out. Other then that its a grim dawn/titan quest reskin.

Ill play some more later maybe I am not seeing the hype

sigh I can see there is potential in this game but got some major flaws.

There is almost no skill expression when it comes to monster fighting. In the beginning it is managable but as you progress it devolves into a milliion things almost insta teleporting on your face from all directions it all comes down to mashing a few buttons and hope everything dies.
Just a stat check at every point of the game. There is no teleport required since every char seems to zoom around the map like they are on crack.

I still don't understand the main story and I tried sitting through the painful npc dialogue. I don't feel like this is for me tbh. Ill finish the main story and then give my final verdict

The game is very long in a sense, it's unlikely you, just having started will make it into the real end game by just playing in 3-6 months (as in, you won't get good enough quickly enough to get there), unless you rmt your way to good gear. It takes tons of hours to learn to farm, even more hours farm enough to get sensible gear.

Yes, killing mobs doesn't require skill, killing bosses requires a lot of learning. Hell, even getting to bosses sometimes takes many hours (Aul only spawns at a certain depth, which you have to be quite powerful to get to).

Yes, on the surface it looks shallow, but the game has crazy depth, you just need to get to the endgame.

Just learning to craft has an absurd depth to understand what premutations of tools that are available to use, to get to where you want.

Thanks little spawn I don't need a tutorial on how rpgs work. I am almost finished. I don't need to grind endlessly for high end gear complicated doesn't necessary equal fun.
Sorry it took you years to learn this game I know not everyone is capable of a youtube and quick trip to best builds for 3.20 into google.

If I wanted difficult i would reboot souls and elden ring to do a no hit playthrough the game is piss easy.
