Mother's computer broke and I have a spare 6600T and MSI motherboard but no extra power supply
Want to try and reuse the psu in the Acer prebuilt desktop brand of the psu says FSP, should be good right? They don't have proprietary parts like Dell?

It will work, assuming it doesn't have proprietary connectors and pushes enough watts/amps to run your new parts.

Should have 4+4 cpu and 20+4 motherboard connectors, a single 4pin cpu connector is fine depending on your motherboard.
